I am new to LA. Does anyone know any private beaches with music and chaise-longues and hammocks?
I do not mind paying entry fees. Back home in Egypt we have private beaches with music, a bar and sitting lounges and crystal clear waters! Here in LA all the beaches I've been to are public and have none of that, basically just a strip of sand where you can go and lie down get some sun. Any help?

There are private clubs on the beach, but you need to be a member (or guest of a member) and be sponsored for membership by a current member, like the Beach Club, the Jonathan Club Beach. Membership is very expensive, they're sorta like country clubs.

Most of the beaches in CA are public, with few exceptions.
