Butterfly Chairs - Posture?
I have lower back pain problems that are so far minor but I am worried about progressing further. While I am obviously trying other solutions, such as exercises, etc, I do need to spend a lot of time sitting down.

I have a butterfly chair (cushioned) left over from boarding school. Now I'm wondering - does it provide good posture for your lower back? Or am I better off being in a chair with good lower-back support, which I have?

You should use an ergonomically designed chair that helps you to sit up straight and provide support. Butterfly chairs are terrible for posture.
